Don’t believe in angels? OK. But aren’t you just a little curious?
Then this is the place to start. Joan Wester Anderson does the one thing that whets your appetite for information about angels. She reports. She never resorts to embellishment or selective-memory storytelling. She uses her background in journalism to probe narratives from real people about real-life events. Then she takes her findings and presents them to her readers, and lets them decide where fact and faith intersect. Maybe the best part about reading a Joan Wester Anderson book is the simple act of spending time with her because it is her voice that carries you along the pages of a well thought-out “conversation” between author, reader and subject. I like an author who can tell me a story without making me feel as if I am being lobbied to embrace a certain belief. As much as Wester Anderson comes across as honest, she has one other attribute that makes her a preferred author on the subjects of angels and miracles. She is smart. She never takes her readers for granted and consequently applies her considerable intelligence to the task of relating events as they happened. She rejects Disney-esque “happy endings” in favor of fact pathfinding. Wester Anderson is the perfect choice to lead the way for anyone who wants to explore some of the most mysterious encounters men, women and even children have had with God here, on His Earth.

A must read on the angels, for people of all faiths and even for unbelievers open to the possibility.
This is one of Joan Wester Anderson’s fabulous books, filled with great testimonies by people of all different faith traditions. It’s important to realize that 90% of the people who were benefitted by the angels’ interventions had prayed for help. If we don’t pray for their help, we are not likely to receive it (But here I’m referring to the more outstanding cases of their intervention, because I know they are always helping us anyway.) When it comes to these extraordinary interventions by angels, if we do not ask for their help, we may fall victims to thinking these happenings come from “luck,” or “coincidence,” or our own “magical powers.” So, this book is vital for us to read, because it puts us on the right track about how to use the help of our guardian angels.

Angels, Miracles, and Heaven on Earth…
This was a comforting book. I like reading about the different experiences that peoplehave when things are at there worst and divine intercession seems to know when tostep in. Many of these stories are true miracles. Many in our daily lives we take for verymuch for granted.I’ve experienced them myself and consider them blessings from above. And I thank Godand all his Angels for watching over me and my family.I am very thankful for little blessings and I love to read other peoples stories of divine intervention. It brought much comfort to me. I lost my mom 6 months ago and I feel she is in good hands and inpeace. I hope those blessing keep coming. I am not rich monetarily but I am rich in family and friends.Blessing never to be taken for granted.5 Stars and a must read.

Great Stories – Just wish the book was thicker!!
Love the stories – the only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that the length of the book. It needed more stories! I breezed thru the book in no time flat!

I love all this author’s books.
This is my sixth year as a DMV driver license examiner. The job is extremely dangerous and I find myself praying the Guardian Angel Prayer several times every day at work. I truly believe in the power of prayer and in the protection of these specially appointed spirits. Whenever I have any down time at work I read books exclusively on the subject of angels. I enjoyed the angels I met in this book by Joan Anderson.

She’s the best!
I was introduced to Joan Wester Anderson in 1997 on my first job out of college. My supervisor knew I loved Jesus and handed me a Joan Wester Anderson book. My life has never been the same. Now I am passing down her books to my niece who is very spiritually inclined and loves Jesus like her aunt. if you want to be enlightened and encouraged about angelic beings and God’s protection, open up a Joan Wester Anderson book.

Wonderful Book
I have read several books in the series and find them to be well-written and entertaining. I have bought hard copies to give away and they seem to have provided a measure of comfort to the people who received them. Highly recommended.
